Grab the grain, breakout the hops and let your imagination run riot.

As homebrewers ourselves we've found that brewing provides an appreciation for the craft that goes into making an exceptional beer. Brewing is a way of learning more about how flavors in the beers you love are achieved, and expressing what you enjoy to share with others.

This is an inclusive competition for all levels so if you think you've got a
stand-out stout or just want a professional palette on your perfect pale?
Get involved and show us what you've got.

15th July 2018
How's it going to work?
The format is simple, there will be four categories and a criteria for judging to provide everyone with feedback on their brew. There will be a winner from each of the four categories, and the winners will be judged against each other to give us an an overall champion.

There are 50 entries available, with a maximum of two entries per person allowed. If you wish to enter two beers you will need to buy two entries to the competition. Entries open on the 30th April and close on the 30th June. When entering you must state which category you will be entering and you may only enter one per entry.

Judging will take place on the 15th July at Brewdog Norwich. You (the entrant) must be there in person with three bottles of your homebrew with crown caps and labels attached for judging.

You'll need to have handed in your beer by 11pm on the 14th July 2018. Judging will take place 15th July, and the winners announced at 8pm that evening.

All entrants will receive their score sheets and comments from the judges. Judges will be chosen by Norwich Craft Beer Week organisers and will be a panel of practicing brewers, beer writers and beer industry experts.

The 4 individual category winners will receive £30 beer bucks, plus other homebrew goodies

The overall winner will have the chance to brew the winning beer* at full-scale with the guys at THREE BLIND MICE, Ely!
